Friday Fricassee: Chocolate Marshmallow Treats
So, apparently learning to cook on electric range was a big deal in 1959. This little book explains all of the details. Here’s a range-top dessert that I might just try:
Chocolate Marshmallow Treats
1/4 c. butter
1/2 lb. marshmallows
2 squares baking chocolate
5 c. rice cereal
Place butter, marshmallows, and chocolate in a 3-quart saucepan. Heat on LOW, stirring constantly, until all ingredients are melted. Remove from heat; add rice cereal. Stir until well coated. Press into 13 x 9-inch pan. Chill and cut into squares. (Chopped nuts may be added if desired.) Makes 12 servings.
I think the microwave may be involved in my version!

I just found out that my second book — The Lawyer & The Cowgirl — is coming out from Harlequin American Romance in August 2015. YeeHaw! I’ve started a Pinterest board of my inspirations. This is a work in progress and I’m sure I’ll be pinning like crazy as I get closer and closer to pub day

#amediting
During So You Think You Can Write 2013, I got thru edits with snacking and caffeine.
I am in the final stretch of edits on The Surgeon & The Cowgirl (out in June 2015 with Harlequin American Romance). Last year during #SYTYCW13, I fueled my writing as pictured. This year nothing so fancy just plain old coffee
