Warrant for Damnation: Chapter 1 My Life is…Complicated

Welcome to the start of NaNoWriMo. My task this year is to complete the editing of Warrant for Damnation, which is book 2 in The Courier Series. Considering there are around 30 chapters in the book and 30 days in the month, I’m going to release a chapter a day here in my blog. I hope you will come by as much as you can during the month to read and comment on the progress of this beta version.

You can read book 2, Warrant for Damnation before book 1, Call for Obstruction or the prequel, Fall for Freedom. This first chapter will get you caught...prequel,

Introducing Trisha, Angel Apprentice

Here we are at the final day of October Frights, and I would like to end the event by introducing one of my favorite characters in The Courier series. Trisha is a fun and spunky angel apprentice who tries to keep Barry in line, although it’s a constant challenge for her. I’ve been having the amazing RL Treadway draw the book covers and characters in the series, so I’d also like to thank her for ... Read more

The Masks We Wear

Time for some more fun with horror movies, this time crossing over with the masks that are so prevalent with the villains. Some masks are placed on the face, while others are the result of some physical modification. Halloween is the time of year we can also wear these masks with honor. What type of mask would you wear? Skin Masks From Texas Chainsaw Massacre to Motel Hell, or even the Whisperers in Walking Dead, ... Read more

‘Tis the Season for Frightful Fun

Fall is my favorite time of year, and October is probably my favorite month because weather’s so unpredictable in Colorado. The volatile month can vary as much as 50 degrees in a single day, with snow in the morning and warm sunshine in the afternoon. And how can you not love nature’s changing colors just before a harsh period of sleep and death. Then there’s Halloween, my favorite holiday. For us horror writers, it’s also ... Read more

Movie Review: Stalled

This zombie movie is on my ‘best of’ list. Am re-posting a few that qualify as Christmas movies. Anyway, Stalled was awesome! Here’s what it’s about: “A janitor gets trapped in a women’s restroom and encounters an all-out attack by a horde of zombies.” This movie occurs on Christmas eve, and like the synopsis says, a janitor is trapped in a ladies room toilet stall at the start of a zombie apocalypse. Wouldn’t that suck! ... Read more
