Crazy Weird Horror Collage, Horror movies/shows & Dumping X (Twitter)

Sharing a horror collage I created recently. I love the way this one turned out and could stare at it for hours. Despite my moving to Photoshop, I did this one quickly in Canva. Like I say, it’s funny how something you throw together can work so well.

The Zombie Stage & Artsy Horror Movie

This week’s horror collage, although it’s more of a stage scene. I’ve moved to Photoshop, so this is less choppy. I find this corny, but it was a great practice. As an afterthought, I probably should have painted in some mist. My favorite part is the hand at the bottom right. I also like the combination of hues with the teal and orange.

What shall I do next. Unfortunately, I’m not really feeling much Halloween inspiration this year. Not sure why, considering it’s my favorite holiday.

Haunted House

Nothing more perfect for the Halloween season than a haunted house!

I did this in Photoshop, starting with a beautiful Victorian home in great condition. Lots of fun, and I’ve been dying to do more of these. I did it in school and there was a tutorial for it that has since disappeared. There are tons of tutorials to do similar images, so I’ll try a few of those the rest of the month.

Halloween Collage & Horror Movie Fest

Happy start of Halloween! I’ll be doing a bunch of Halloween inspired collages and this is the first one for the month. I’ve moved to Photoshop as I had mentioned to try to make them look better. I really need the practice anyway.

Every year I go on a horror movie marathon, usually watching a number of movies I’ve seen before. This year I’ve decided to only watch movies I haven’t seen. This week I watched 4 movies, so I need to step up my game since I wanted to watch at least 1 a day.

Angels Dark and Dumb on Barnes and Noble & Corner of Hell and Second Chances Preview

Howdy all! It’s been a few weeks.

Got a collage for ya with Trisha the angel apprentice. I’m getting kinda irritated with Canva because it’s been buggy lately. Doesn’t like to remove backgrounds consistently and when you save the file, some images regain their background. So, I’m going to start using Photoshop exclusively because the images just come out better. I really need to do more videos too.

Angels Dark and Dumb NOT on Vella

Last week I mentioned that I was putting Angels Dark and Dumb on Vella, but they decided that the series doesn’t qualify despite my reading it should. Yes, I’m a bit bitter about the time lost… Okay, now I’m over it.

Good news is that I have been working on the first 20 pages of Corner of Hell and Second Chances and will share it here soon.

Angels Dark and Dumb Releasing on Kindle Vella

Sharing one of my favorite horror collages. These were originally done to identify where to read horror, but I’ve decided to remove the banners and just go with the collages going forward. I like how the orange lady bugs create contrast in this one. Lately, I’ve been thinking of pairing these with a horror poem. I may have mentioned this already in a post a couple weeks ago. Then I look at my task list and laugh. Yeah, fit in yet another project. What am I nuts.

Frank-n-Furter is Complete

This is it for Ladies of Horror for awhile. Frank-n-Furter has brought me to the point I need a break from this style, although the characters in The Rocky Horror Picture Show could keep me busy with these for months. We’re planning on seeing the movie in the theater this year around Halloween. Can’t wait!

Emo Art is Cool!

Don’t cry over spilled wine.

Emo art is another school project. I had no idea this is a style until we were given a page full of art styles and told to create a piece for a few of them. I fell in love with Emo art as soon as I saw it, so much so that I’d love to do a graphic novel in this style.
