But the sticking point n…moreIf I can’t work through it in an hour or two, I usually put writing aside to focus on other activities or household projects. But the sticking point never leaves my mind. Possible story lines pop into my head continually regardless of what I am doing until I settle on the “right one” and run with it. For example, in The Field Trip, I wanted more interaction between two of the characters but reached a block on how. Later on the same day a close friend talked about running out of fuel in her vehicle. That sparked an idea that developed into eight pages.(less)
