Possible story lines pop into my head continually regardless of what I am doing until I settle on the “right one” and run with it. For example, in The Field Trip, I wanted more interaction between two of the characters but reached a block on how. Later on the same day a close friend talked about running out of fuel in her vehicle. That sparked an idea that developed into eight pages.(less)
