Destine Destiny Destinee

I found this notebook while walking through my neighborhood. Oddly, this is the only page with what seems to be a child's handwriting. The rest of the notebook contains a few recipes and some notes from the Franklin Covey time management program in very neat handwriting. There is no name or contact information.

I think it is beautiful. Who wouldn't want to be the star in someone's heart?

This was stuck under my windshield wiper the other day at a strip mall. Whatever damage he did didn't matter, because two days later I totaled my car in an accident.

Air Up the Tires

Found it tonight in the grass near a bike rack at Spring Arbor University. Poor David. I hope his wit saved his bike from being taken.

Honor System

This was attached to a small box which I assume held the candy. I wonder if the kiddies heeded the notice.

Church Party List

I work in a church office. We have a small staff. There is a good flow of people through here during the day, but I know everyone who comes by. I found this list on the back stairway down to the basement and the usual suspects who might have created this list deny it is theirs.

This is from a school journal I found lying on the street. What follows is sea sickness, famine, and one hellish night spent on a floating plank of wood in black freezing water. That's enough to seize the darkest corners of insanity ... because she stole a lighter.

Found this on a sidewalk near Martha's Vineyard a couple years ago. It still makes me laugh. What the heck!

Athletes?

Found in the trash that was being discarded by the yearbook staff when they were cleaning out for moving. No names, dates, or other identifying info.
