Hi there, Miss Ingrid!
First off, I offer my most humble apologies for the lengthy delay in answering your question. I have been on the hunt for a regular job since mid-october. And I have only just been able to find one during the start of this week.
And even though I have so many followers on goodreads, I regret to inform you which not all of my followers have my best interests within their hearts. In fact, there are at least a few people who would want to see my simple fantasy/fiction stories fail.
The only other potential reason why I have as many followers as I do is because I have had a grandfather who was once famous as a big band singer. He even had a brother, who helped him out by rising him up into the spotlight. Furthermore, the information about my famous grandfather is publicly visible, right here on my own Goodreads profile. You can find out more about my grandfather on Wikipedia, in fact.
Besides this, I haven't even had a chance to check your profile to see how many novels you have written and published after you have joined Goodreads just a year before I did. Although, I did not actually join Goodreads by choice; one of the librarians or administrators on here must have seen my Amazon author profile, and added me on to this website. Barnes & Noble has done the very same thing, albeit mainly with a lot of the novels I wrote.
If, after hearing all this, you still want to utilize Goodreads to its full potential, there're some groups you can join which will grant benefits to all those who are not yet well known. You might even be able to convince the moderators of a few of those groups to help you gain a little extra publicity.
I also have a blog and a semi official website, both of which I feel also help me out, even though it's not very much. Needless to say, I wish you all the best in your work and your endeavors as a rising star author.
With much love and appreciation for your patience, Ross, AKA, H.R.
P.S. Feel free to ask me any more questions you may have, directly.

(view spoiler)[Why hello there, potential Superior-Fan!
I am so used to typing out a book which I fear the interest and intrigue of writing a book down onto paper by hand has very nearly become a lost art-form. And even more sadly, I don't personally know of any others who told me how their book(s) have been written.
While typing a story can be more convenient for the author in question, there could be another way for me to put the story onto actual paper...! A decade or so ago, my Mom told me of another long-lost art-form of writing: Stenographery!! Her mention of this quickly piqued my curiosity, and I soon found a video of an older woman, who demonstrated her mastery of the skill. While doing so, she claimed which writing in "steno-form" allowed her to jot down over 200 words per minute on paper!!
If I'm ever able to master the skill myself, then I'll surely be willing to introduce the entire Sky Fighters Fiction Series in scroll-format! Would you see this as an awesome idea? Please tell me if you want.

Sorry for the week-long delay in answering this one; I've not been feeling well, plus a lot of crises have been coming at me and my Mom. Short answer: Yes it is true. He was my grandfather. Keep in mind, however, just because I'm related to a late celebrity doesn't mean our family is rich or famous. In fact, come tomorrow, the Wikipedia article about me may very well be gone. If you like the article of me and want it to stay, then you're welcome to speak to the editors of Wikipedia about it.
If you can't or don't do so by tomorrow, then enjoy it while it lasts, because I might never get a chance to become as notable as Ray Eberle was. This doesn't mean I won't keep trying to improve myself by having more kindness and respect for others.

(view spoiler)[Hello, Sherrie!
I can write almost any time of the day. Although I don't write every single day. One ritual I have which might help me get in the mood of my story is to either listen to music (Usually rock), while gazing at pictures of celebrities or other people I find online or watch a TV show or film which is at least fairly similar to the story I'm trying to write. For instance, this film or TV show might have action (Battles or conflict) in it.
Apart from this, if I wanna write a new story, I'll usually wait for an idea to form in my mind. One does not simply force his or her or their characters into creating a story for them. As a writer, I have to let stories come to me naturally. If I'm lucky, ideas will come to me in my dreams. But once one does reveal itself to me, I prepare an outline, and either begin my story in the midst of it, or finish the outline and then write my story. (hide spoiler)]

Hi again, Michael!
So sorry for not having noticed these questions a lot sooner. First of all, congratulations on obtaining author status here on Goodreads! Now, this makes you and I rivals...Just kidding!
In all honesty though, sometimes Goodreads likes to make sure its authors are truly on the up-and-up and not spammers or scammers or book-thieves/pirates posing as authors, be they famous or not. I had to re-submit my application once more after initially submitting it, because the administrators had not accepted it the first time around.
And now since you've established yourself as an author, get cracking! You have a lot more work to do, such as: Writing, copyrighting, and publishing books, having them listed on your new, shiny Author Profile (The Goodreads Librarians' Group can help you out here), posting blogs, if this is your thing, adding photos and videos, making friends and followers, and whenever you have the money to do so, hosting your very first Goodreads Giveaway!! Good luck! And may the odds be ever in your favor...XD!

Yo, Michael!
Good to meet you. I read through your question and have decided to delve into researching it, as I did not immediately have the answer, myself.
Here's what I found out from this Q&A page about being eligible to join the Author Programme: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/... <---- On here, it states quote, "It's best if your work is for sale or pre-order on a bookseller's website, such as Amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. However, we will accept any author who has published a book. This includes international authors, as well as self-published authors."
This means Goodreads ought to recognize you as an author, no matter whether you went through Amazon or Barnes and Noble to publish a book or not. Are any of your books in the Goodreads database, yet? Have you taken the necessary steps to fill out an application as noted on this page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/program ? If so, did you check your e-mail and its junk/spam folder to see if they sent you anything, stating whether they've approved your application or not?
Let me know the verdict, and thanks for your compliment about my post on wearing multiple hats! :-D

Hiyo, Jenn!
First of all, welcome to the author's universe! I'm so thrilled to meet you! Secondly, I do indeed give book reviews once in a while. However, currently, my schedule prevents me from reviewing anyone else's books, save for the ones I started reading earlier this year, but haven't finished yet. On this note, yesh, I would be honored to read, rate, and review one or more of your books, in case you're wondering. Unfortunately, I have about 3 to 4 books from authors I met, which I still need to read, rate, and review. To any of those authors, who see this, consider my answer to be a shout-out to you, letting you know I have not forgotten about any of you! You folks rock! And I look forward to reading all your books one day. This year has just been crazy! But next year, I plan to read even more books than I did this year! Hopefully, I'll be able to do more reviews...Cheers!

Hi, Roz!
Well, the good news is: I'm already a couple pages into the 6th chapter of Sky Fighters #8. And seeing as how my characters are in a super-active state right now (Meaning my head is chock-full of incredible ideas and ways for me to implement them), the writing of this novel is guaranteed to continue onto completion, with no breaks in between.
Now here is a little shocking news for you...Sky Fighters #8 (Which will be the final novel in the original Sky Fighters Epic-Saga) is also guaranteed to be the longest novel I've ever written in my life! Just to give you an idea how HUGE this book is going to be, my previous longest novel is 87,530 across 356 pages...
...Sky Fighters #8 is barely even 6 chapters out of 20 chapters complete! And it's already a whopping 44,798 words across 177 pages!! o_o If this trend continues, then by the time I start writing the 20 and final chapter of this book, it'll be at least 500 pages with some 150,000 plus words mixed in! And before you ask, no. I don't have the foggiest idea what your definition of a pipeline is. If it's a publication date you seek, then I estimate the entire book to be published perhaps by Christmas of 2021. It could be sooner or later though, depending on my schedule.

(view spoiler)[Why hello there, Sherrie!
If you're a strong believer in which my story is not autobiographical, then you are partially-correct. On this note, would you believe me if I told you a number of my ideas come from dreams I've had at night whilst I slept? But most of those come from the result of year-upon-year of character and plot-development.
And speaking of ideas coming from dreams, let me tell you a little story about one of those ideas...
One night, back in August of 2019, I had a dream, where I was walking with some folks close to my age. In this dream, we spotted this real old farm. There was no-one on it, except for us. And it featured a grain elevator. Back then, I didn't have a smartphone, so this was somehow reflected in my dream. So, I took a picture of the structure and it suddenly collapsed!...In my dream! Needless to say, me and everyone in my group was quite shocked by this turn of events.
When I woke up, I was so amazed, I wrote all the details of the dream down on a Word Document, where I have my dreams recorded. Next, I sat and thought about it for a short while, and ideas for a character to 'own' the farm came into my mind. Now, I just needed to find a picture of someone to portray her. Then, I met Rebecca McNutt.
Here is her profile link: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... <---- This lady is a self-published author, just like me! And yet, she has a HUGE cult-following of over some 15,000 followers! I got to know her, then quickly pitched my idea to her, asking if she'd be interested in having this character in my 7th novel portrayed in her likeness. Well, to my utter shock, she not only accepted my offer, but actually had a small hand in developing the setting for this role! :-D
...Eventually, Secrets of the Past was published on May 15th 2020. Some time after this, I asked Rebecca to read, rate, and review this very same novella, which I 'placed her into'. She must've liked the book as she gave it 3 out of 5 stars and wrote a really swell review of it also! The funny thing is...She didn't mention anything about the character I created, based on her. Hmm...Perhaps she's the humble type, no? Amd yet, 20 of her fans took notice of her review and liked it. This is a good ending for me!
Whew! Sorry I got a little carried away in my explanation there. But long story short, I'd say roughly half of my series is autobiographical, while half isn't. But it's still pure-fantasy, sci-fi, and coming-of-age. Enjoy it! (hide spoiler)]

Hi there, Miss Trana!
Thanks for the question. I will be making use of my personal computer's Internet (Mozilla Firefox) to answer these questions. As this is the first event I am hosting, I don't expect a very large turnout. I am giving this feature a try to see if it will potentially help me connect with more authors (And readers!). As to your 2nd question, I'm in the United States Eastern Time-Zone. So, this is the zone I'll be referring to from now on.
My afterthoughts: I just love making new friends and communicating with people (And animals!), and so I figured why not have my first event center around them/you instead of just me. I hope this turns out to be a good decision on my part. Be sure to tell your friends, fans, and family about my event, so they have a chance to meet and speak to me too!

(view spoiler)[I had to consider this one for a while. But now, I know. I would Skip-Bo myself over to Rick Rirodan's Kane Chronicles Realm! Once there, I would immediately turn myself into a 14 or 15-year-old boy again, and seek out Sadie Kane, and ask her...1: Would she go on a date or be in a relationship with me? 2: Would she be willing to train me the way she and her older brother train other young fellows, beginning at the end of The Red Pyramid? If not, would she be willing to 'Shine' with me to my own fictional galaxy in its current year (2008) and become a Sky Fighter? (hide spoiler)]

EDIT: I am now on the 4th chapter of Sky Fighters Part VII. And while I still can't give any notable details about it, I can say this: There will be at least a couple more new characters, deeper 'world-building', and at least three new, legendary artifacts! Therefore, my fans won't have to sit and read numbers (Like Hit Points) and such anymore. ;-)

Ahh...How do I deal with writer’s block? This is a burning question which is inevitably every writer’s worst fear. So, if you happen to be a writer, here are a couple of tips you may find handy...First of all, if the writing you're doing seems to be tedious all the time, chances are...It is. Why? Because perhaps your book, novel, or whatever is to long. Or it may have to much fine detail, such as a complex number-based system. Or not enough of a story-line or character development. So, try changing it up a little. Secondly, it may be the fact you're just writing to often. Whenever I write, I write between 1 to 3 pages a day. Just not every day. Writers don't have to write every day, though writing often is always good.

Great advice, Ross. Thank you on behalf of writers all over the world.

Ha, ha! I mistakenly typed "PAIN to paper," but actually it's true. When you are feeling pain, try to write about something. It doesn't even have to be about what you're going through. To be perfectly honest, my idea for my most recent book actually came to me more than a decade ago. I was having not only a brain-storm, but a brain hurricane!! And almost nothing could stop it! Nothing except writer’s block, maybe. How do I deal with such a thing? Well...
