My name is Rebecca Maye McNutt. Born in 1998, I'm a student by day, fiction author on the side, trained as a library technician and studying to be a corporate lawyer or personal injury lawyer one day. I'm a romantic asexual, I'll read and watch anything about the Enron case, I love 20th century history and I'm a graduate of the Nova Scotia Community College, currently majoring in Law, Justice and Society (BA) at Dalhousie University. I've published many books under the name "Rebecca McNutt", my most popular title being Bittersweet Symphony, a novel about the impact of the September 11th Attacks. I'm agnostic, fiscally conservative, socially moderate, and a pro-consumerism capitalist speciesist who wishes the 1980's "greed is good" mentality ...more

These people from anything I've seen have been asked time and time again to retell their experiences in full to reporters, filmmakers, talk show hosts, protesters, tourists, the list goes on. It probably gets really annoying and offensive after a while. I do know people who were really affected by it in terrible ways and who lost friends in the disaster, but again, better not to ask about it. (less)

Hand Sewing

I suck at hand-sewing (but also have no idea how to use a sewing machine, they confuse me). I've still been trying sewing again, anyway. Last night at three in the morning I made a stuffed elephant, that elephant protocol minister character from Babar, but I didn't use a pattern so it looks kind of odd. I used to sew a lot when I was a kid, though. I'd made a lot of dolls, stuffed dogs, one lar... Read more of this blog post »

Yup, I get out of classes for the summer starting in late April, but I'm taking a legal ethics of commerce course at Dalhousie University voluntarily. I don't get a spring break, though (unfortunately), but I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can see the flowers and grass again! I'm not yet sure what my spring plans are but I'll probably be taking a lot of rural photos. :)
