Thanks for the question. I will be making use of my personal computer's Internet (Mozilla Firefox) to answer these questions. As this is the first event I am hosting, I don't expect a very large turnout. I am giving this feature a try to see if it will potentially help me connect with more authors (And readers!). As to your 2nd question, I'm in the United States Eastern Time-Zone. So, this is the zone I'll be referring to from now on.
My afterthoughts: I just love making new friends and communicating with people (And animals!), and so I figured why not have my first event center around them/you instead of just me. I hope this turns out to be a good decision on my part. Be sure to tell your friends, fans, and family about my event, so they have a chance to meet and speak to me too!

Hi Ross, How did you manage to gather so many followers? I have joined Goodreads, since 2018 and as sad as it sounds, and as embarrassing that this may sound, but still don't know how to use it to its full potential. The only feature I use is the bookshelves where I track the novels I read. Could you give me some hints please? Much appreciated, Ingrid

This is not really a question about your books. As a new author, I am curious how long it takes goodreads.com to recognize me as such. They claim it takes two business days. It has been four or five, and I have heard nothing. Is there a published or unpublished rule that if you sell your own books and do not go through Amazon or Barnes and Noble then you're not worthy? -- Loved the post on wearing multiple hats.
