Hi Gary - I will keep an eye out for it. Express books are snapped up pretty fast, though.... hopefully I am lucky enough to grab it from the shelf before one of the other reviews grabs it. Good luck! :) Rosie.

Hi Gary! :) Please send your book submission to http://www.readersfavorite.com/ and put a note that you would like for me to review it. The reviews are free to you for a standard review, and I would be delighted to read your latest work. Enjoy your weekend :) Rosie.

As a Professional Book Reviewer, I read many books, but my preference is children's books, as they need to reach perfection in writing, punctuation and grammar, due to the fast rate at which children absorb literary rules at such a young age. With the deadline closing for the yearly competition at Readers' Favorite, it will also be extremely busy, with 2-3 times the amount of books requiring reviews. As for my favourite books in the children's category, those always involve cats, whether in humor, animal stories or any other type of category where animals are shown in high regard.

The main ones would be the mystery of why audiologists failed to find the cause of my Deafness, eye doctors failed to pinpoint the reason I went blind, and why my son had to die. I know, regardless of what the priest told me at the time, that God did not kill my baby because I left his abusive father. Maybe some day, I will learn these things and they will be a mystery no more.
More recently, the biggest mystery in my life is how any country could be so beautiful. I fell in love with the flora, fauna (and my amazing husband) in the country where I now live. Each lake's or town's name has a unique and specific meaning, and I wonder how they came to be so named - especially the towns with large populations, having names that scare the bloomers off me!
Wow... maybe my next book is why old lady pants are called bloomers!

I am forever thankful for books. They are a great escape from the craziness that is going on in the world today.
It frustrates me when people who write about Deaf people actually incorporate any old signs, all willy nilly, without actually interacting with the Deaf community to find out what is correct. Many people just assume that sign language is the same in every country, but each country has its own unique signs. AUSLAN is based on BSL, for example, whereas ASL is based on French Sign, which is where it originated.
I enjoyed your book, and look forward to reading more of your work in the future :)

Sean and Dani 'Baby' Rush, from the Love On Tour series. It was the love which started the series and surpassed all other loves. Sean is a rock star (when on stage) but is a man of few words at all other times, preferring to be a wall-flower. His wife, Baby, is a wall-flower, working as a park ranger and a mum to their two children. It took a long time for Baby to get used to the fact that she was the only woman to ever steal his heart... and keep it safe.

Hi Heather! No matter what, I always find the time to get behind the things that matter to me, usually through the use of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Blogs). My family in Australia stay in close contact, as do the Indigenous services, through social media so I know when something unjust has occurred and needs to be voiced.
In regards to my deafness, I have written books for LDA (late deafened adults) regarding the massive differences they will experience, mostly in the form of other people's behaviour towards them, and tell them to brace themselves for the bumpy road ahead, while also having practical things at the ready, such as apps which alert to danger and noise, having a "Deaf Card" and more. When people tell me I always seem to "play the Deaf Card," I tend to laugh at them for not realising that Deaf Cards do exist and are very much life-saving.
Building up and helping other authors is also a passion, and I do this through my proof-reading, copy-editing, layout and design services, as well as through publishing their work and providing professional editorial reviews. I issue the best manuscripts with Book of the Week, Book of the Month, or the ultimate trophy of Book of the Year (which also comes with a bonus). Authors who write especially great literary works, regardless of length, deserve to have their praises sung. In my spare time, when I am not working on other people's books, I write my own.
As for being a wife... I said "I DO" in three languages and confused the magistrate so much that I am sure he went into retirement the next day ;)

Hi Billy. I proof-read/copy-edit English and ASL (sign language) books of all genres except for horror. I would be honoured to edit your books.
If you would like unbiased book reviews, I always recommend Readers' Favorite (https://readersfavorite.com/annual-bo...), where you will receive a free editorial review after you submit your book for review. You also have the option of entering your book(s) into their annual book award competition :)

Hi David! :) Yes, of course, please put it on Amazon. As it is an Editorial Review, you can place the review (all or part of it) there, in your Author area for this particular book.
Happy New Year to you! :)

I lived in various places on the Queensland coast (mainly SEQ) and then lived in Canberra for 14 years before moving to Finland. Whilst I do miss my family and friends dearly, I most certainly do not miss the heatwaves, bushfires, firestorms, giant spiders or snakes. Give me -50 degrees over +50 degrees any day, and I'd rather be bitten by a squirrel than a huntsman spider ;)

You are very welcome. I loved your book, with all of its twists and turns, and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
I wrote my first book when I was 15 years old and have been copy-editing and proof-reading since I was 19. I finally released my first published book in 2015 and have several more under my belt which I am releasing in paperback format slowly but surely :)

Kay, thank you for such kind words! Your book is one of the best that I have ever read and I look forward to reading and reviewing the other books in the Love on Tour series.
I don't do book signings as I am a house-bound agoraphobe, however, my publisher in London is due to soon release hardback copies of Change Your Name and Disappear, and I am happy to sign a copy and forward it to you direct. You will see, after reading my story, why I don't leave my home as it is so risky for me to be outdoors that I ended up having to leave my home country of Australia after the police could not protect me from my abuser.
I am looking forward to reading more of Dani, Sean and Henry, and pray that you some day release the series in print :) xx

You are very welcome, Vanya. Your writing deserved the heralded praises that were sung. I have recommended your book on my personal web page and on my author page. I have never read a short story with so much volume before, and I look forward to reading more of your work. It was a pleasure to read and review!
As my novels are much darker than yours, might I suggest something light and fun? CATHOOD is the first book in the Cathood series (Muffin & Milly books) and shows you the blogged experiences of a cat who adopts a Deaf human when she visits the local RSPCA. While the books are about to be revamped (thanks to the extremely talented pen of my new illustrator, Martu), the story will never change :)

My publisher in London is busy getting my books made into hard copies. I will ask them to hurry themselves up, as demand is getting higher. You can download Kindle to your desktop computer, as it runs on smartphone, tablet and PC. If you wish to do so, here is the link: http://download.cnet.com/Kindle-for-P...
I am sorry that I could not be any more helpful at this stage, and wish I could assist you further.

The only time I get writer's block is if my personal affairs or my house itself is in a mess. The answer is to clean house, find a solution to the problem at hand, and then press on with the story.
As a children's book author, I don't often have that problem. The stories flow freely from my fingers as I delve deep into my imagination.

It is fun. It is addictive. Being Deaf and unable to communicate with spoken words, I find that I am able to put all my thoughts and ideas to paper. Before losing my hearing and eyesight, I was a Paralegal and a Veterinary Nurse. In Finland, Deaf people have limited opportunity to get a job anywhere, as they are deemed unfit for work. I find that my previous occupations, although in the past, will never go to waste. I draw on my experiences and make the most of them.

Before you start to write, know how the book will end. Plan the full scenario before you type your very first word, and save the title until last.
