Lots of laughs! I love your engaging prose and moxie. Your story about nearly losing your life from a snow plow because the operator couldn't understand why you weren't responding to his honking galvanized me. Another example of our need as a people to practice more compassion and less narcissistic assumption. I'd like to help promote Deaf Awareness on my website and social media. What address should I visit so I can share your content?
You can find me on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/rosiemalezer) or on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/rosiemalezer). I generally share updates on living in the Deaf world at those places, as well as on my blog (https://rosiemalezer.wordpress.com/).
I am in the process of publishing a more critical book about the discrimination which I face every single day, titled "A Journey to Silence." In the meantime, you might wish to take a look at "How to be Deaf" (https://www.createspace.com/6081244), which carries a wealth of information for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, regardless if they were born Deaf or became Deaf later in life.
