Fascinating and inspirational life story. My family and I lived in Australia ten years some time ago. At the moment my middle daughter is living and working in Australia. I lived in various places on the Queensland coast (mainly SEQ) and then lived in Canberra for 14 years before moving to Finland. Whilst I do miss my family and friends dearly, I most certainly do not miss the heatwaves, bushfires, firestorms, giant spiders or snakes. Give me -50 degrees over +50 degrees any day, and I'd rather be bitten by a squirrel than a huntsman spider ;)

Hi, Rosie, another thank you for your wonderful review. Glad you got what I was trying to do; get kids who won't read reading! Including a lot of young gearheads, as I was. You have a great husband, by the way. My wife has tried to teach me ASL, I do know the sign for "BS." She helps folks who are deaf and hard of hearing get jobs. It's where we met, I work with TBI survivors. They're the kids who do, not read. ?
