أحمد فرحات: كاتب، وروائي، ومترجم مصري «عضو اتحاد كتَّاب مصر»
من مواليد عام 1983 بمدينة القاهرة، تخرج من كلية التجارة بجامعة عين شمس عام 2009.
بدأ الكتابة عام 2015، وتفرغ لها عام 2017 بكتابة كتاب «تاريخ الفكر الإنساني» الصادر عام 2018.
بدأ كتابة أول أعماله الروائية «خيڨا» عام 2019، ونشرت الطبعة الأولى عام 2020 بمعرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب، وتأهلت الرواية للقائمة الطويلة لجائزة الشيخ زايد دورة 2020، وترشحت لعدة جوائز أخرى منها الجائزة الدولية للرواية العربية (بوكر).
ممثل الشباب، والمسئول عن وضع تصور عملي للنهوض بالثقافة بمؤتمر "مستقبل الثقافة في مصر" 2023 المقام تحت إشراف اتحاد كتاب مصر.
شارك في موسوعة تراث الإنسانية للنشء والشباب الخاصة بمكتبة الإسكندرية بكتاب «الخوارزمي: رجل غيَّر تاريخ العلم».

صدر له خمس روايات:

يظن كثير من الناس اقتران لقب علمي بأي شخص هو تنزيه له عن الأخطاء، فترى بعض الناس يصلون بالبعض حد القداسة وتلك الطامة الكبرى والتي أغرقت أوروبا مئات السنوات في الظلام فترة العصور الوسطى.
