Two decades ago LISABET SARAI experienced a serendipitous fusion of her love of writing and her fascination with sex. Since then she has published nearly one hundred erotic titles, including the classic RAW SILK. She edited the acclaimed anthologies SACRED EXCHANGE and CREAM and is currently responsible for the altruistic erotica series COMING TOGETHER PRESENTS.

Lisabet holds more degrees than anyone needs from prestigious universities who would no doubt be embarrassed by her chosen genre. She loves to travel and currently lives in Southeast Asia with her highly tolerant husband and two cosmopolitan felines. I've got a long list--or a big pile, depending on how you look at it!

Most are not romance or erotica; I tend to read that opportunistically, often for reviews. The books I'm hoping to read include:

The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman
Reamde by Neal Stephenson
Two Years, Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights by Salman Rushdie
The Harder They Come by T.C. Boyle
The Plot Against America by Philip Roth
Leaving Lucy Pear by Anna Solomon

... Not to mention the 100+ titles on my want to read shelf!

But I am always open to recommendations.(less)

There was a lot of divorce in my family, so when it came to marriage I was quite cynical. Yet somehow I fell into a fulfilling, exciting relationship with a fantastic guy - still going strong.

Of course this wouldn't provide much of plot for a mystery, but I think it might make a fine romance!(less)

A single stolen kiss – #Sapphic #Historical #WomensHistoryMonth

OnWednesday I hosted a guest, so I did not participate in the weeklyMFRW Book Hooks blog hop. However, I figured I should continue myobservation of Women’s History Month by posting historical excerptsthat feature my heroines.

Today’ssnippet comes from my Sapphic romance By Moonlight. This is are-imagining of the classic poem TheHighwayman by Alfred Noyes, but with a twist – and a happyending. T
