Lillian Francis is an English writer who likes to dabble in many genres but always seems to return to the here and now.

Their name may imply a grand dame in pink chiffon and lace, but Lillian is more at home in jeans, Converse, and the sort of T-shirts that often need explaining to the populous at large but will get a fist bump at Comic-Con. Lillian is a self-confessed geek who likes nothing more than settling down with a comic or a good book, except maybe writing. Given a notepad, pen, her Kindle, and an infinite supply of chocolate Hob Nobs and they can lose themself for weeks. Some how the students(?) released the four horsemen and it's down to the remaining Titans to put things right. Beast boy and Cyborg have somehow merged into one being, Nightwing has a Deathstroke mask, and there's some chap called Red X, I have no idea who he is. Raven sacrificed herself to be forever imprisoned in the Rock of Eternity with the four, while Billy is destined to remain as Shazam forever to keep watch over the Rock. 3* The art was great for the most part. I can't say i 100% understood the story.
Shazam - Follows on from Teen Titans. Shazam and Billy are split so that Billy can keep watch over the rock while Shazam returns to Earth. But it's a trick that turns Shazam into a murderer and finally releases the creature that Raven has become.
Suicide Squad - Don't like the art. It’s messy. Amanda Waller is running a Justice Squad on Earth 3, maybe ? I'm not sure wtf is going on. The Suicide Squad from Earth 1 turn up wanting to take Waller back. For some reason people from Earth 1 can’t live long on Earth 3. Everybody dies except Connor, who is left as Earth 3s Superman and Earth 3 is cut off from everywhere else. Does that mean it can’t be destroyed by the Unkindness. (FYI that is a fucking shit name.)
Black Adam - Now we're in 853rd century. The Unkindness and her sins are destroying the universe. Wonder Woman, who is a statue come to life apparently, is carrying Black Adams baby. And someone called Gold Beetle has arrived to save the day. What the hell? It feels like the reader is just dumped into the middle of a story with no idea who once loved characters now are. The whole universe is being destroyed, Black Adam gets sent back to the Rock of Eternity in 2021. Presumably this is to kill The Unkindness before it is unleashed on the multiverse. Who knows. That is where it ends. ...more "
