Andrew Carnegie
I started and stopped this the first time, until I went to Sleepy Hollow and visited Andrew Carnegie’s grave, beside that of his wife Louise. I was struck by how humble his final resting place was, compared to that of Rockefeller and so many of his other Gilded Age contemporaries… and I heard enough of his back story to whet my appetite for more. So I re-downloaded the book and finished it.
