“Sometimes we get very comfortable in the roles we are playing, and we find ways to continue seeing ourselves in those roles. People can often provide a feeling of support in their role by being attracted to groups of people who have similar interests or think in similar ways. As long as everyone agrees with what role they are playing, there need not be any conflict and we can all live together peacefully, right? But what happens when someone wants a little more flexibility. Maybe they are tired of feeling like a “victim” for a moment. Hmmm.
Here is where a lot of the conflict within our relationships can show up; when we are trying to keep people playing certain roles which keep us comfortable. After all, if one knows how to exist within this system then there is not so much confusion and they can go about their life as this role, and they do not have to spend their time trying to review their beliefs and find new ground.
But this can backfire due to loss of agility and flexibility. When someone is hiding deeply within one of these systems, oftentimes they do not see how if they tried to interact in the same way with a different group of people, they would quickly start learning some lessons about what they are creating. This is one reason why people can choose to hang out with others from very different backgrounds and energies. Attracting people into your life can assist you in identifying dissonance within you and loosening such solidly held identities. In this way, others can serve as a mirror. And this mirroring can serve as a way to freedom.
We can also use this same tool inside of ourselves to identify dissonance and to become reconciled.”

“The lens can act in many different ways and lenses can be stacked on top of each other in order to produce varying types of views. Take the fish-eye lens as an example. The glass on the lens is shaped in a certain way in order for the light to enter and produce a certain kind of distorted view.
We all are born with a lens, but usually we get to kind of start at ground zero in the process of beginning to understand, use, and interpret what this physical reality is. As our eyes open and we start to interface with this new reality, we form connections and synapses within our brain for interpretation and use of this new tool that we have. And much of this develops through the guidance or non-guidance of those caring for us. So much starts to become ingrained, and even in some cases we can borrow other people’s lenses in order to feel safe in the world. Sometimes the layers and layers can become quite complex. How many of you feel that anything you come in contact with gets to be translated through a menagerie of different thoughts, ideas, and histories before it fully gets seen?”

Many of you act as if fearing is not a choice, when in actuality you decide that you shall choose fear. And then you often claim the Dark did it to you, or the unknown made you fear. Or you claim that the scary alien or the devil himself or herself made you fear.
You may say, “Cannot things hurt us?” Very well, yes. You may fall down a set of stairs. So you might as well watch where you are stepping and pay attention out of Love and care for yourself.
But fear often simply shows up as a sign that something is hidden and in the dark. The moment that you, within your knowing of Oneness, is not scared of looking into the dark or hidden spaces, is the moment fear loses any kind of power over you. It then is being used as a power for you and through you.”

“Truth” is a form of this honoring that we speak of and is a part of what may be known as integrity of the soul. As one may come to see, when there is any identity, there will always be a subjective viewpoint. “Truth,” in a sense, may only be experienced through this subjective viewpoint. And as we become nimble and honor each view, a more complete picture may be known of “truth”.
In a sense, we all operate in “truth,” but what is the truth that we are operating through? This is a question which can be gold to each of us.”
