+ Imogen. Hands down the best character currently
+ Jesinia is a close second
+ contact with scribes in general
+ Greycastle is interesting so far
+ I like that Tairn is a goodboy
+ not every day is a deadly challenge, even though it's still needlessly deadly (I swear their enemies don't kill as many soldiers as they themselves)
+ Rhianna is more cool
+ less horny
+ Mother has emotions

- atp I want her to write a book about the gryphon pilots because they sound very smart compared to this

so far, this has been much worse than book 1, sadly. It's also much longer so hopefully it gets better
