In the book, I'm where Harry is with Hagrid shopping for his supplies for Hogwarts. My opinion on what is happening is strange. I think it is strange that a random giant showed up at the shack Harry was living in and told Harry he was a wizard. Now all of a sudden they are shopping for wizard things.

So far in the novel, I am where The Dursleys and Harry move to the shack on a rock in the ocean. They get a knock on the door from and giant named Hagrid who tells Harry, that he is a wizard. Dudley portrays the trait spoiled because he got around thirty seven presents for his birthday and demanded more. He also has a room just for his toys.
