Amanda just completed her m-to-f transition and moved in with her estranged father who feels beholden to be begrudgingly tolerant to get a fresh start somewhere where no one knows her past. On her first day of school, she meets a boy with whom she has an instant mutual attraction. I can't see how this can end any way but utter disaster.
