Beginning this classic year-long devotional.
I’m praying that this year the Spirit would lead me to have such little faith in myself and the world and so much faith in my Lord that I will give my utmost strength and commitment for his highest glory and purposes. May I surrender completely to his will and there find joy and freedom.

I’m skipping days here and there, and just reading today’s devotion when I get around to it. Chambers is passionate and sometimes a bit peculiar. He can be wonderfully convicting and inspiring, but other times he can unhelpfully mystify.

Chambers has some passionate advice which is helpful for sanctification and the pursuit of God. However, I’ve found some bits I either disagree with or he has not communicated clearly. On the whole, though, I am liking it and finding it challenging to my heart in a good way.
