Community safety hubs operating in a transformative framework understand that when people don't have a safe home to sleep in, it is a form of violence and contributes to instability that can lead to other forms of harm. Thus, providing safe housing and addressing communities' range of basic needs is as much about interrupting violence as stopping someone from pulling a trigger.
