The storyline of video game development is still (sadly? Finally?) state of the art with the rise, finally, of Oculus VR. Solid hacker/cracker side threads. Creepy supernatural something going on, shades of the darker sides of Octavia Butler's Wild Seed books. And of course solid political commentary and flawless martial action.

Getting capital W weird. Some nice slices of game development and old school dialup system cracking. But I've never listened to an audiobook with so many pronunciation mistakes. Dozens of common words.

As Barnes is the guest of honor at ConGregate this summer figured I would get started on a read/reread plan. A good one to start with IMHO.
