This book is based recently after the first. There is no obvious way to stop the villain from the first book, but an old guardian seems to have an idea of what to do. Stripped of her title of guardian of Cancer and with her planet in bad condition, Roe still has to find a way to stop Ophiuchus who is likely to start a war between the zodiac.
