I have to say I expected better reviews for this book lol for a book that has 3 more books to follow and a spin-off trilogy, I thought lots of people had loved this. Still, I’m having fun and kinda just got used to the writing style, so I will def finish it.

I had a a few issues with this book when I started reading it, but I’m glad I didn’t give up on it. I understand now why people say the book is a dark version of the musical’s glossy, bubbly take, and there’s nothing I love more than a dark story.
