i swear kafka's daddy issues is bleeding through his works. "a thousand friends cannot replace father" indeed. well, i have my own daddy issues, and sometimes i wonder if i didn't find the gym, meditation, existentialism, and therapy i wonder if i would have ended up as sad as georg bendemann, his other characters, or even the man himself kafka

perhaps, life would be a tad bit better as an insect. next time i meditate, instead of imagining myself as a flower or a river or focusing on my breathing. perhaps, i should just imagine myself as a disgusting vermin
