Why is this book so loooooong? I like the story, but I swear you could cut out about a third of the text and you'd get the point just fine.

I'm still reading this book! It's just slow going because most of the time I'm either writing/editing my own stuff or listening to an audiobook. But I'm going to get through this one... one of these days...
