SO MUCH EXPOSITION! I'm enjoying it but jeez, a LOT of exposition. I'm surprised at how much has not actually happened in this book, and I'm about halfway through. Also Wade can be such a whiner! On the plus side I thought Art3mis was just a Molly Ringwald manic pixie dreamgirl, and now I realise she's really the only one with her head in the game. She's still like 95% MPDG, but that can't be helped...

Pretty good, but with a LOT of exposition in the beginning chapters. Everything starts to pick up from about chapter 7. Also, Wade really likes to talk about how much he knows about games, books, comics... I get it, you're a nerd. The character is giving me occasionally flashbacks to that one guy at the comic book store who berated me for not knowing about some obscure DC character :/
