More people saying "OK," and a major continuity problem. Why doesn't it strike the detective as odd that her sometime boyfriend -- whom she has not told where she is staying -- shows up at her hotel?

I must confess, I'm developing a real pet peeve with authors who have their characters speak in acronyms and digits. No one says they are going to "BBQ" something (bee-bee-cue?) or says "come over at 3." And it's Aryan, not Arian.
