I'm practically finished with the book. My favorite character and my least favorite character were friends, as they are high school until a freak accident. My favorite character is Kaneda who is trying to stop my least favorite character Tetsuo (honestly he's not that bad of a character) who is trying to reach Akira so he can rule the world.

I am finished with the book. The main problem is that the friend (forgot his name) is trying to reach Akira and rule the world. Advice I would give is don't hesitate to shoot him. If you let him live he will proceed with his plans and kill nearly everyone.

In the book there are many characters so i'm just going put them in categories. There is Supernatural, the High school biker gang, the street gang, the government, and the underground. The supernatural and the high school street gang are trying to stop one of the gangs old member who has accidentally gained powers when crashing into one of the supernatural. The two gangs hate each other. The undergrnd hate the gvrnt

Akira is an amazing book, the story line and graphics are beautiful. The only thing I didn't like about it was the long and boring conversations they had. I love how the characters personalities are. And the graphics are really nice.
