This is picking up after a dull patch! Sometimes her wit is so dry I don't recognize the irony unless I look closely.

Well I'm gonna pick up this book I was reading before I started the readathon and see how much I can read before I can't keep my eyes open anymore!

So this book was given to me literally years ago to review for my blog, and I've never gotten around to reading it until now, although it's been a nagging guilt ever since it arrived in the mail. Now that I've started it, I'm like, why didn't I pick this up earlier? I forgot how fun Jane Rule's dry, no beating around the bush, observant writing is.
