So happy to be back !! This one feels faster paced and much less confusing, although I read the 1st volume a while back.
I think Colson Whitehead really is a fantastic writer, able to portrait characters with just a few but precise and unique details, same goes with atmosphere & settings. It's giving this book an almost cartoonish feel, it has a very definite ambiance/style/touch, so recognisible
