Couldn’t have come at the right time. Much needed reflective essays on the double standards of aging. However it eventually feels repetitive to read women’s and men’s social expectations on age, body and beauty.

On to the next essay of Susan Sontag is “the third world of women” she tried to compare woman’s emancipation to slavery. She argues that as for thousands of years human as species have thought that ‘some’ people were superior. Which became evident that people are being made inferior. As well as the comparison, which screams white feminism. Which doesn’t sit well with me.
