Mr Hyde's actions in this novel are key moments in the text because they help to add a sense of mystery within the plot and emphasise the theme of 'Good vs. Evil'. The drama and mystery are built using important events at the start of the book. Personally, I think the novel is mysterious and engaging, however, I found it quite hard to understand at some points because of the language used.

The two other stories within this novel are very creepy and gothic and I didn't enjoy them that much. There were different themes within the two stories (The Body Snatcher and Olalla) but Stevenson managed to still make them quite creepy with the build up of suspense and mystery. Overall this book was good but I probably wouldn't read another book of a similar genre because they are quite sinister.

This was the last chapter of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and it concluded the whole story off and answer the questions the reader had about the events in the book. This story was very confusing to read as the language was quite difficult but it was an interesting story that dealt with the significant theme of Good vs. Evil. This theme was shown throughout the story making it a gripping but mysterious read.

This chapter has revealed a lot of important things regarding the main idea of the story (unveiling Mr. Hyde). It was captivating and showed the main theme of the book, Good vs. Evil, as it showed the struggle that Dr. Jekyll had with these two ideas. The ending of the chapter was shocking but explained the events in this story. I found it interesting and I am no longer curious, however, it was slightly confusing.

Since the previous post, the plot has gotten more mysterious and captivating, as you learn more about the different characters and you are able to piece certain actions together. The theme of curiosity has been evident throughout this novel but during this last part has gotten more prominent. The sudden, yet vague actions have created a suspenseful tone which makes me more interested in what will happen next.
