Good, but not great. Well plotted, but nothing memorable yet. It feels a little by the numbers so far, and I suspect it will continue this way, just as his next book sounds like a rehashing of ideas brought up in both the Dead Zone and the Dark Half.

A good King book, borders on great but doesn't make it there. Scary in it's possible accuracy of what would happen if a small town suddenly was cut off from everything (I kept thinking, yep, that's what would happen if this happened in Waynesville) and a crazy Tea Party type took over the town.
