There's an obvious pattern with the topics/ themes Ishiguro likes to explore. Maybe because I've seen this concept repeat in other films and narratives, I wasn't too surprised with how things played out. Although the plot itself was a bit predictable, I did appreciate the world building in the first half of the book. I like Ishiguro's style of writing, but I wished certain things we're explored / explained more.
