Not impressed so far. Perry, our cop, can't say anything without growling. And the off-the-charts sexual tension between him and our heroine, Kylie, is heavy-handed. 2nd time meeting her, he was already imagining "plowing" into her. And their next few interactions were aggressive...including sucking face in front of Perry's cop partner...at a crime scene. I love alpha male heroes, but this is lacking depth

So far, I'm not impressed with the writing. Scenes are drawn out and run together. And information about the hero and heroine has been repeated ad nauseam, and I'm only 29 pages in.
It feels as though instead of simply letting us into the lives of Kylie and Perry, we are being hit over the head with details such as how lonely they are, repeatedly...just in case we missed it the first few times...
