Not impressed so far. Perry, our cop, can't say anything without growling. And the off-the-charts sexual tension between him and our heroine, Kylie, is heavy-handed. 2nd time meeting her, he was already imagining "plowing" into her. And their next few interactions were aggressive...including sucking face in front of Perry's cop partner...at a crime scene. I love alpha male heroes, but this is lacking depth

Our hero and heroine are already overcome with sexual thoughts. Kylie has already imagined "blowing" Perry 🙄Meanwhile, Perry continues to snarl in every paragraph and seems to know Kylie is more than she appears. Yet somehow he doesn't think to ask any questions the first time they meet? 🤔 Oh and he just grabbed her by the hair...I'm all for alpha males, but..

So far, I'm not impressed with the writing. Scenes are drawn out and run together. And information about the hero and heroine has been repeated ad nauseam, and I'm only 29 pages in.
It feels as though instead of simply letting us into the lives of Kylie and Perry, we are being hit over the head with details such as how lonely they are, repeatedly...just in case we missed it the first few times...

I just dont like this series. I have decided to not finish this book. That is so hard for me. But I just dont like it.
