Ethan L is finished
The Burning Bridge is a setting driven book because all of the things that happen in this book is because of the war. Some examples of this is Will and Evanlyn getting captured. Another example of how this book is setting driven is how will has the burn the bridge so that the enemy troops can't cross, this eventually leads to his capture.

In this update I will talk about character development, mainly about Will. When will was taken in by Halt, a ranger, he was very shy and scrawny. Halt then takes him into his home and guides him as a father would. I think that this is where will starts to mature because he now has someone like a father to guide him. Will also is not as shy anymore because he gets to talk to more people.

Will is a dynamic character in this book and this series because he is constantly learning and maturing thought the book. The book is a dynamic situation because there are lots of plot twists and it is never the same for more than a chapter. Another reason why this book is dynamic is because Will and his friends are always getting caught spying on the enemy or they are always getting in bad situations.

The burning bridge is a fiction book. This is a mystery and an action book. The action part of this book is constant as the rangers are trained fighters, also the whole country is in the middle of a war so it seems like someone is always fighting someone. The mystery aspect of this book is shown when the Rangers go to public places because no one can see their faces and no one knows their true identity.
