Finished His Last Bow and am now up to the final book, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes.

Finished The Valley of Fear. Now starting on His Last Bow and its first short story, "The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge".

Finished The Return of Sherlock Holmes. Next up is The Valley of Fear, which is going to annoy me for being anti-labor agitprop, but I don't think I can justify saying I've read a book unless I've read every word.

Finished The Hound of the Baskervilles. Now on to The Return of Sherlock Holmes.

Finished all of The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and am now up to the fourth chapter of The Hound of the Baskervilles, "Sir Henry Baskerville".

Finished "The Boscombe Valley Mystery" and "The Five Orange Pips". The next three stories, "The Man with the Twisted Lip", "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle", and "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" were all adapted for TV, so I'll be reading and then watching them individually until the last, which I'll combine with "The Adventure of the Engineer's Thumb". I'm looking forward to watching the next episode.

Read "The Red-Headed League" and "The Case of Identity". I read both at once because "The Case of Identity" wasn't adapted for television. The same holds true for the next two stories. "The Boscombe Valley Mystery" was adapted but "The Five Orange Pips" was not. Of the 12 stories in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, 8 were adapted for the Granada television series.

Read "A Scandal in Bohemia" from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I've decided to read these stories in conjunction with the TV adaptations by Jeremy Brett, of which I own a complete set on DVD. I watched The Sign of Four this morning, and next I'll watch this story's adaptation before starting to read "The Red-Headed League". Where a story has no adaptation, I'll just read it with the one that does.

Finished A Study in Scarlet and The Sign of Four. Now reading the first collection of short stories, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
