"For, of course, being a girl, one's whole dignity and meaning in life consisted in the achievement of an absolute, a perfect, a pure and noble freedom." This is so boring I can barely read a couple of chapters a week. I think I'll celebrate when I'm finished with the damn thing. This could've been so much better if Lawrence criticized society more (he does it beautifully), instead of writing about burning loins and "molten wombs". Ughhh :SSS terriblee
