A. Patrick Ness is marvelous, and while it's a kind of children's book, it's the kind that transcends anything as simple as age. Really really good, and a decently quick read- but it'll also kick you in the feels. They're making a film, so you'll want to fit it in before catching it at the cinema sometime this year.
We don't know each other, but you did address Goodreads, so Ozeki.
