Well aside from the crappy narration, the book has be hooked! The author really captured the time frame that France actually put up a fight...it was over in a few pages! xD All jokes aside, interesting to see how occupied France was for the normal people

I honestly don't think Beck would have turned Vienne in... In the heat of the moment, though, I get her reaction. The description of of Isabelle's stay at the camps was pretty brutal. But it all happened too quickly...

I take back my 'crappy narration' comment. It's just certain characters sound...off. Anyway, I love how Isabelle is turning out... I know things will go down hill probably, but she literally saved men's lives...Vien meanwhile? Yea she has her own responsibility to her family, but she's made a few bad choices. Not sure if getting too close to her "rentee" is a good idea anymore...
