Conner was rewarded level 3, probably because the doctor saw that his parents dont provide much support and she wanted to boost him up a little, Tony left his father on good terms, his father apologized and Vanessa saw her grandma on better terms than the last visit. Only thing is her grandma told the doctor about Vanessa's mother, something she hadn't brought up in therapy before. (S)

schooling in psych wards are usually at a lower level than what the patient is learning in school, I like that in the book they're doing work that makes them think at the right level (F)

There is a mandatory church service at the psych ward every sunday. Tony was reminiscing on church when he was at home and since Tony is gay he asked his gay friend about how God feels about gays. and he said "I think God cares more about how you treat others than who you sleep with" an amazing answer(F)

the three main characters all are struggling and i love that even though they need help they will go out of their ways to make sure the others are doing ok (F)

Conner finally met Vanessa and Tony, Conner seems to like Vanessa and vise versa, I think the 3 of them will become sources of support for one and other just as Tony and Vanessa are becoming (P)

Everyone had their visits from their family memebers and no one had a good experience. there was just one kid who was his usual obnoxious self and Tony got angry and threatened him. But there was no intervention. why would the staff let the kids yell at each other like that (Q)
