This book has a lot of figurative language. One example of Mike Lupica using figurative language is " Feeling brilliant like he can see the whole day unfolding". Another example is "Joe slowly moved his arm like it had a weight attached to it". The last example is when Charlie tries to get a fumble. It says"scrambling like a crab on the beach

The author's tone of my book is sometimes happy and joyful and other parts intense. The tone is happy when he talks to the owner of the Bulldogs and when gets his small football podcast to air on ESPN Radio. The tone is intense when one of his football games go down to the wire. When I am reading I feel jealous because everything is going right for Charlie and he is becoming famous in L.A.

Charlie Gaines' internal trait is smart. Not smart school wise, but he is smart in football. He knows everything about every team and every player on that team. He is so smart that all of his friends call him Brain. Some evidence that shows Charlie is so smart about football is on page 1 it says "king of fantasy football' it also says not just watching the Giants vs. Bengals preseason game as much as studying it"
