This book has a lot of figurative language. One example of Mike Lupica using figurative language is " Feeling brilliant like he can see the whole day unfolding". Another example is "Joe slowly moved his arm like it had a weight attached to it". The last example is when Charlie tries to get a fumble. It says"scrambling like a crab on the beach

The author's tone of my book is sometimes happy and joyful and other parts intense. The tone is happy when he talks to the owner of the Bulldogs and when gets his small football podcast to air on ESPN Radio. The tone is intense when one of his football games go down to the wire. When I am reading I feel jealous because everything is going right for Charlie and he is becoming famous in L.A.

Charlie Gaines' internal trait is smart. Not smart school wise, but he is smart in football. He knows everything about every team and every player on that team. He is so smart that all of his friends call him Brain. Some evidence that shows Charlie is so smart about football is on page 1 it says "king of fantasy football' it also says not just watching the Giants vs. Bengals preseason game as much as studying it"

I am currently reading a book called Fantasy League. The conflict in the story is that Charlie's best friend Anna, her family owns a football team. The team is called the L.A. Bulldogs. They are the worst team in the league. So since they are terrible, Anna's family is not very liked by the whole city of Los Angeles. That is the conflict of Fantasy League.

I read over the last week I was reading I finished the book. A summary of what I read was Nate got dropped off in a limousine at Gillete Stadium. He watched the game until halftime until it was time to make his big throw. Right before he got to have a catch with his hero Tom Brady. He made the throw and suddenly became a millionaire. He spent his money on a cure for Abby's blindness. She was cured!

I can relate to the main character in my book, Nate Brodie because he loves to play sports. He loves football and he is really good at it. I can make a connection with that because I love baseball and I am good at it. We also both played on teams that won their championships.

The main character is Nate Brody. He loves football and he is the star player for his football team. He makes the best of everything and likes to help people, like his best friend Abby who is going blind. He is important because he gets the chance to make the throw of a lifetime at the Patriots game at halftime. He can get his family, who is struggling financially a million dollars with one throw.
