In the first chapter, it was difficult to make sense of things. Finally, I can feel the signature of Orwell's writing with a simple and detailed description of the setting; similar to Animal Farm, he used repetitive Slogans to instil a feeling of revolution in us. Winston is in terror and yet he continue to show some courage, it'd be interesting to see what his journey entails.
