"The Statement of Randolph Carter" 4 stars. Fantastic. Goosebumps.

"The Doom That Came to Sarnath" 2.5 stars 🌟🌟✨ was a bit bored here, since i rarely enjoy fantasy.

"The Transition Of Juan Romero" : 3 stars 🌟🌟🌟

"Memory" is so bleak, i love it. It is my favourite so far, short as it is. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beyond The Wall Of Sleep : 3.75 stars 🌟🌟🌟✨

Polaris : ⭐⭐⭐✨ three and half stars.
Again, excellent writing, and Lovecraft is very good at writing half-insane/completely insane characters that lose touch with reality and hallucinate most of the time (or do they?).

Dagon : ⭐⭐⭐⭐

"I dream of a day when they may rise above the billows to drag down in their reeking talons the remnants of puny, war-exhausted mankind—of a day when the land shall sink, and the dark ocean floor shall ascend amidst universal pandemonium."

The narrator in the second story is the type of people I envy because they can sleep through anything, like this one, literally sleeping through a volcanic upheaval. HOW?
