This is the very definition of a childhood classic, too bad I don't see many people taking about it.
It's heartwarming and has a great story that can be rather consistent. Great character development (for a children's book) and great illustrations to boot.
If you have kids or like to read stories that reminds you of heartwarming books you'd read in your childhood I highly recommend this book.
