We finally have a chapter with adjectives!

“…a guy in a suit” “turd brown” “a man sits behind a cluttered desk” Pretty sure my 13-year-old brother could come up with better descriptors 🙄

Plot is fine. Still not a fan of the writing style. Not enough words.

Worried about the pacing being too quick. I like a wordie book. Tell me about the weather or the color of the walls. What were the girls in the bathroom gossiping about? What color is Keller’s maternity suit. What does Mr Local Detective look like other than his polo tucked into his pants???
