this is so much to digest bro. im disappointed in james and marilyn for several reasons, and while i feel so bad for the kids im sitting her just questioning why communication is so sparse in this family... everything got so much worse as i kept reading. also my suspicion with jack... omg I KNEW IIIIIITTTTTT HE'S A CLOSETED ONE— BEEE WHOOO YOUUU AREEEEEE 💅 so sorry lydia :(

my heart fucking aches and hurts for lydia. "what's it like" to be a minority. it's truly the whole complicated "sometimes you don't think about it at all" or "you forget" until people stare at you, or mock you. "people decide what you're like before they even get to know you." oh, my poor lydia is going through a lot. i just wish her family could communicate more and stop the tension cause they only have each other.

this chapter was quite heavy for me idk... getting a glimpse of the good but also the ugly sides of the Lee Family dynamics is so depressing to read. I almost teared up a bit in the middle of reading.

james is a little insecure man. i feel so bad for lydia and hannah. i also want nath to work on his anger issues. idk what jack knows about lydia and im dying to know specifics. also marilyn should've stayed a single woman to be a girl boss doctor
